ABOUT RIDERS4RESEARCH & THE EXHALE FALL CHARITY RIDE

Riders4Research is an organization that combines its members’ love of cycling with their desire to give back to the community. The group was formed in 2004, when the Cadieux Bicycle Club, one of the oldest cycling teams in Detroit, asked o2 creative solutions founder Brian Hords to sponsor their club. To add value to the group’s endeavors, Hords urged the team to ride to benefit charitable causes. That same year, Hords started the Exhale Fall Charity Ride, and has sponsored Kids Rock For Research, both to benefit Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International (JDRF). Other benefit rides that Riders4Research/Team o2 is involved in include the Day & Night Miles Ride and the Leader Dogs Blind Tandem event, among others.
